Both owners have extensive backgrounds in equine veterinary medicine which includes working with the fine staff of the Edisto Equine Clinic assisting with surgeries and treating patients.With over 30 years experience in the horse business I have dealt with many equine emergencies but more importantly have become attuned to recognizing a problem before it becomes an emergency.

Here at Alcolu Equestrian Center we believe horses should be allowed to be horses. Horses that are provided constant turn out, free access to fresh water, proper diet, and the companionship of other horses are statistically healthier both physically and mentally. All horses are monitored through out the day for any signs of stress from temperature, bugs, etc. and cared for accordingly.
